Hola!

I know it's been some time since we launched a new collection. In fact, some of the pieces I showed you in the previous entry haven't been launched either. Truth is, I still have a ton of stock with me which I have yet to take pictures of.

Lin and I have both taken new roles in our jobs this year and I guess 6 months into the job, things are really starting to pile up. Unlike our previous roles, both our new jobs are more time consuming and they generally exhaust us fully by the end of the week. I travel a lot too for my new job hence you might have noticed that we launched the last few collections individually.

Well, the good news is, Lin and I will be doing a photo shoot soon, so you see a launch from us in the next 2-3 weeks. We miss you gals too and look forward to your ardent support for our next launch.

Cheers!

BAD HAIR! :(

I have been going to the same hairdresser and I love how she does my bangs which is seriously all important to me. But unfortunately, she really messed up this time. I HATE MY FRINGE. It's a tad too straight and short. It looks really bad and I really can't stand how it makes my face look so boxy and how I look absolutely TOOT.

Anyway, did some pictures today and whilst I love the clothes, I wish I had looked better in them. I blame it on my tired face (lack of rest and I was having a headache all day) and my ugly hair. I have so many other pretty stuff too but I was really not feeling well today so I guess they will have to wait till the next photoshoot.

Meanwhile, here are some of my hot picks:

Wore the black/white dress out to dinner at Absinthe (my favourite French restaurant) and to Filter after. Everyone was all praise for it!!

Love this pair of pants I bought in BKK. So pretty!!

Chilling at coffee bean @ the VILLAGE in Serangoon Gardens. Quite a cosy hideout I must say to just laze and read or catch up with friends.

Sorry for this short and rushed entry. Promise to write again soon. Meanwhile do check out my food blog if you haven't already - foodgossip.wordpress.com
Somebody wrote left a hilarious comment that left me speechless!!

"Germaine! Hey I’m a long time reader first time poster on ur blog. I just wanted to say thanks for all the time and effort you’ve put into this, based on your feedback I had this amazing dinner with my secretary at bleu unfortunately after too much wine we ended up in bed together and my wife caught us so I’m now starting a messy divorce but it doesn’t detract from what was a mouth watering tour de force, magnificent food! Btw I think we saw you at Filter on Friday anyway if you ever want some champagne you are most welcome at our usual table. Keep up the great posting!"

Song of the Moment

I'm In Here lyrics

I'm in here, can anybody see me?
Can anybody help?

I'm in here, a prisoner of history,
Can anybody help?

[CHORUS]
Can't you hear my call?
Are you coming to get me now?
I've been waiting for
You to come rescue me.
I need you to hold
All of the sadness I cannot
Live with inside of me.

I'm in here, I'm trying to tell you something,
Can anybody help?

I'm in here, I'm calling out but you can't hear,
Can anybody help?

Can't you hear my call?
Are you coming to get me now?
I've been waiting for
You to come rescue me.
I need you to hold
All of the sadness I cannot
Live with inside of me.
[ From: http://www.elyrics.net/read/s/sia-lyrics/i_m-in-here-lyrics.html ]

I'm crying out, I'm breaking down,
I am fearing it all,
Stuck inside these walls,
Tell me there is hope for me
Is anybody out there listening?

Can't you hear my call?
Are you coming to get me now?
I've been waiting for
You to come rescue me.
I need you to hold
All of the sadness I cannot
Live with inside of me.

Can't you hear my call?
Are you coming to get me now?
I've been waiting for
You to come rescue me.
I need you to hold
All of the sadness I cannot
Live with inside of me.

I'm in here, can anybody see me?
Can anybody help?

And here's one of my favourite scenes from Gossip Girl Season 4

Love, Jessica

Just done with the photoshoot for 2 collections. With work and the crazy USDJPY, EURUSD; I am exhausted from taking all those pictures but excited at the same time. I kept so many clothes for myself! Can't wait to launch and I really hope you like them as much as I do. As I mentioned in the previous entry, I am trying to shake up our style a little and hopefully you girls will take to it and support us.

Here's a sneak peek at what's coming up next and some of my favourite pieces! (sorry this time round picture quality a bit bad.)

This dress reminds me of Serena from Gossip Girl! Love the lace top and the chiffon bottom!

Remember we had a pink dress with a similar print? Well this is black/grey/white. Gorgeous combination, nice material and absolutely cute!! :)

Another Serena dress. :) This figure hugging dress is flattering and absolutely sexy!!

This vest can be worn casual or smart for work. Love the colour and the sexy back! :)

This lace top is classy and elegant. The french lace is beautiful!!
Love the skirt too. Was afraid the red might be a tad loud but I love it! Who wants to be dull and boring all the time? This pretty chiffon skirt shouts designer!

Hee wore it to work!

Love this too! The drop shoulder gives a relaxed feel and whilst it can be worn casual, pair it with ankle pants and you are good for work!

Wore this to work! :)

This sexy toga is classic and gorgeous! Paired it with an elaborate toga. Comes in electric blue too! Hee thinking if I should keep both for myself. :p

This dress reminds me of Carrie in Season 1 of SATC. Love the ballerina look. It's kinda a cross between NYC and Korea?? Very sweet and great for dinners too!

Sweet and casual. This tweed dress is simple and chic. Top inside not provided!

Love this jacket! Sassy, chic and arty! Can be casual with shorts, or worn with fitted pants for work. PRETTY! :)

Can't wait and hope this new style gets a good response!

FashionITCH tries a new STYLE! :)

Hi girls!

Just got back from the suppliers and I am so excited about our next collection!! :) Our collections showcase mainly dresses with many being Korean inspired and our weekend dresses being largely relaxed and casual. For the next collection, we will be trying on a new style, bringing you a mix of tops, skirts, jackets and dresses that are both appropriate for work, yet exude a certain sexy and chic vibe. I kept many pieces for myself and I really hope you like this collection. From Korean inspirations to NYC. Here's SATC and Gossip Girl splashed on FashionITCH (not to worry, we still retained some of the perennial favourites JUST in case :P)

So look out for our next collection, Tuesday 22 March 2011 @ 10pm!

I love my friends!! :)

My weekend started on Friday evening when I decided to chill with some colleagues at Boulevard, a bar just below our office. It was a nice and cool Friday and whilst one would think most people leave work early on Friday to go home to their families or chill with their friends outside of work, Boulevard was actually full; full of the after-work crowd.

After some drinks, I went home, caught a power nap before dressing up to meet the girls at Butter. It's been a long time since we were out together and a long time since I had gone clubbing. A had just started a new job and she has been extremely busy and highly strung, putting in long hours and even working weekends. "I really need to partyyyy!!!!" Considering I bailed on her last Friday due to immense fatigue and exhaustion - I literally knocked out the minute I got home and just couldn't move a muscle in my body; I made sure I showed up regardless of how tired I felt.

There was surprisingly no massive queue at Butter when I arrive dat 11.45pm. I wondered if Butter had lost a big bulk of their business to FILTER or was it because there was a party going on at FILTER that night - most of my friends were at Filter attending the party but I decided to pass; plus I was obligated to A. Besides, it seems like a typical Friday these days was to show up at Filter, to see and to be seen, get relatively high, then head over to Butter at about 1ish to 2 to end off the night. For those with more energy, there is also the Thai Club, Na Na or Clarke Quay. Anyway, when we went in, the crowd was awfully young and it was really empty. There was just so much space we felt conscious dancing. The solution? Alcohol. Get high and be uninhibited. As we drank, the crowd started coming in and soon we were having a pretty good time. :)

I woke up excited on Saturday as I prepared for my Swedish Massage at the St. Gregory's Spa, 4th floor of the Conrad Hotel. I liked the layout of the Conrad Pool and the way the Spa was classy and private. Service was attentive and the massage was very relaxing. I haven't been to many spas but this was definitely one of the better ones for me.

I love the Millenia area on a weekend. It's just so peaceful and nice. In town yet kinda tucked in a corner. Love it during the week too. I am going to miss this area when we shift offices come year end. :(

In the evening, I went to the Singapore Repertory Theatre to watch CLOSER. It was fantastic!! The staging was fabulous, the cast was extremely talented and the play was thoroughly entertaining and intriguing. I loved every single minute of it. Like the movie, whilst it explored the complications of human relationships, it was also hilarious and witty. I loved it how they were so explicit and open. Personally, I felt it was a milestone for Singapore in how it was so open and how it addressed sexuality in such a tasteful manner. It was extremely well done. Kudos to Pangdemonium Productions! I look forward to more of your works!

Met up with my secondary girls for lunch at Heart Bistro, Palais Renossance. I love it how we have been friends for so long and how we have seen each other through our best and worst. It's been over 10 years now and here we are still sitting together, laughing and talking. Whilst our topics may have evolved over the years, as do our opinions, our clothes, our hair, and our venues; it's still us, just as we were before, having fun and enjoying each others' company. I love u girls!!!! No judgement, just friends I know I can count on. (too bad we forgot to take a picture today!!)

After lunch I went and got my hair chopped and coloured. Not exactly the colour I was looking for but I guess it will do. I actually would like to try Tan Kheng Hua's hair colour in the play Closer. Her dressing and her hair were really sexy in the play. Totally unexpected and surprising. Heh Inspired. Anyone knows where I can buy nice scarfs?? Super into them these days but I only have 2! :(

Oooooh walked through a shop today at Raffles City called Forever New. PRETTY!! Lots of floral but it's the SATC type of floral. Love the bags and the clothes and shoes!! Too bad I didn't have time to shop there today but I definitely would like to go back! The price range is fairly reasonable too!!

Today was a "take care of myself day". After getting my hair done, I went to my usual FE Nails, where I had arranged to do my nails with A. It was a lovely girly afternoon which ended off with dinner at Hanabi and drinks at Brotzeit with my 2 As. Girly talk, just the way I like it! :P

Ooooh wish we had more free time to meet up more often. It's so difficult to book everyone's calendar these days. Wish I had my own place so I could invite my friends over, order in, or cook. Hmmm….can't wait! hee and of course, my very own walk in wardrobe!! *dreaming*

Wow. It's late!! Time to turn in now…Monday tomorrow! Good night!!! :)
