Photo Journal

And so I was looking through my Mobile Uploads and memories came flooding back. I love it how pictures are captured instantly and uploaded to immortalise that moment in time.

S surprised my by sending a lovely bouquet of flowers to the office for Valentine's this year. Although he sent an equally lovely bouquet last year, I wasn't quite expecting one again as Vday was together with CNY. He made it happen anyways. :)

S and I at the National Museum for the Egyptian Exhibition. It was terribly disappointing for it really showcased nothing. The Kang Xi exhibition at the Arts & Civilisation Museum was so much better. And yes, I am a history buff. :) I am guilty of watching the History Channel on cable. And my favourite movies include The Last Emperor and The Rise of Hitler.

Love my Prada wallet! :) S bought it for me as a Christmas gift last year. Absolutely love the texture and softness of the leather, the quilts and how the colour goes so well with the gold plated words!

Went for a spa session with S in one of those couple rooms. Wish I could go for a massage every week…sigh

One of the best techy decisions I ever made. I love my MAC to bits! Now I seriously can't live without it. No idea how to revert to the old MS anymore.

Our favourite pastime…S and I love spending our Sundays finding some nice cosy place that has ample table room for our Sunday brunch or tea. After which we will just laze with our lappies and watch our serials. Best accompanied with cheese and wine. :)

S all dressed up for his friend's stag night. Went over to meet him at Butter after drinks with my friends at House. He was all dressed up! An oldish charm with a pCK twist.

S's family cat DIZZY. Always nuah-ing everywhere and anywhere. Look at him so nicely snuggled.

Was driving to a friend's house and wasn't sure how to get there. Directions from my S… (Some say he should have just driven me there! hahaha!)

Having brunch at the Tanglin Tree. Not gonna get a fab review from me on Food Gossip unfortunately…

Ain't she adorable??? Now I have to tell you that I am PETRIFIED of dogs. Was bitten twice when I was younger and chased like 4 times. So whilst I love the IDEA of dogs, I can never be near them. It took me some time to warm up to this little cutie, but she is just so tiny and so docile that it felt "safe".
She is so cute. Makes me feel like getting one myself. :) Maybe when I have my own place.

I used to read a lot when I was younger. This has now toned down quite a bit and I am ashamed to say that I read only 1 book a month on average. From the Nancy Drew Case Files which I used to read, to The O'Sullivan Twins and of course the Sweet Valley Twins; both of which I dutifully followed. There was this period where I fascinated over Judith McNaught and Virgina Andrews. Those curious years…now I don't really stick to any author per se. Bought a bunch of books at the Borders Sale recently. Not even halfway through the pile! :S

The girls and I went on a yacht trip which I really hope we will get to do again. It's really nice to just take a boat out with your girlies, play loud music, drink bubbly, binge on snacks, dance on board, etc. I love being on the deck. We were all snapping away and drinking ourselves silly. Let's do it again!! :)

Co-organised an Arcade's night for the ex company. It was actually rather fun! I never was an arcades girl growing up, neither was I a computer games kid. But having the entire arcade to yourself or 4 hours and being able to play just anything with unlimited tries can bring out the child in you. An idea for team building and mini corporate events if you like. We catered food and organised challenges. Pretty darn fun I'd say! :p

Went to SMU to watch my bro's samba performance. Not bad at all! They actually flew to Germany to perform at the ArTs festival there! Way to go! :)

HATCHED at Evans Road. A friend of ours set up this really neat all day brunch place. Do check it out! Open for drinks at night too! Perfect for a chill out after work. :)

It was my boy's birthday and I am totally not your Stepford wife material so I decided to surprise S by preparing a 5 course meal for him at my place. I even laid everything out like how it would be had we gone to a fancy restaurant!

Check out my dinner setting. That card at his side of the table is the menu for the night and on the table my very own tossed salad with my secret sauce! :p

Preparations for our skewer party :)
Wanted the asian girl but she was sold out! :( St. Nicks RAWKS!

Getting ready to Test drive the BMW 3 series. We went for the AUDI A6 instead. Sweeeeet.

Ain't this pretty? You can order it at HATCHED! :)
Someday when I have my own place, I shall try my hand at baking again. The year before S and I baked and decorated a bunch of Ginger Breadman for Christmas. We were going to wrap it up nicely and give them to our friends but we got lazy at Stage 2 so they just rotted at home.

I miss my straight hair. :(
