Pantomimes are always hilarious.. especially when with a Singaporean twist.
Take our childhood fairytales, add some singlish, hokkien and of course malay and you get an evening of something uniquely Singaporean!
Wont spoil the show if there are people out there who plan to watch it.. but it really is hilarious!! Don't expect to laze in your chair and relax.... Be prepared to be involved in this play as it is highly interactive and the audience really does play their part...
Highly localised, it does play on the usual themes that Singaporeans gripe about... and of course, you have your usual indian characters, filipinas, and the typical ah beng and ah lian... what kind of Singapore play would it be without our iconically recognizable characters?!
so, catch the play!!! its highly recommended!! :)
Attending the Gala night was fun, you really get to see and meet the who's who of the theater scene..These art-sy people are so fun, so creative, so charismatic!! you really see their passion! I'm sure work to them isn't work per-se like it is for most of us.. its their dream, their life, their love.. its not a job, its a passion...
Oh and of course, seeing the actors and actresses upclose... you realise how thick and crazy the hair and make up is!!! its hard work im sure.. but i bet it beats a 9-5... damn....
on a side note.. we will be launching again! Same time, same place.. so see you girls!
