Lin and I have been talking about setting up a blogshop for ages but we never got down to it. We shop online a lot and we thought it would be a good idea to have our own whereby we could design and manufacture clothes that we like and want. But the market for blogshops seemed really saturated so that pretty much put a halt to our plans. This time around however, we decided to just give it a shot anyways.
I am quite excited about launching our first collection. I tried this whole thing on my own once (thegossipshop.wordpress.com) but it didn't take off. Setting up a blogshop is really quite a bit of work so I am quite relieved I have Lin as a partner.
We will be launching our site this coming Sunday 20th June 2010 @ 10pm. Let's hope it's well received and we get to do a 2nd, 3rd…and 100th collection! :)
