Hi girls!
Really sorry we haven't been launching any new collections in awhile. I had the chicken pox for 2 weeks and subsequently Lin was traveling the past 2 weekends. We are finally having our photoshoot this Saturday so you can look forward to our new collection next week! We have so many beautiful dresses just waiting to launch, including those Lin bought from her trip to Hong Kong. We are really excited as our store room is literally bursting with stock! Really hope you haven't forgotten about us and that you will continue to show us your support! :)
I have been really sickly recently. After the chicken pox, I was ok for a bit then caught a flu virus from another colleague. I didn't rest enough and went back to work the next day which apparently made my virus mutate to something stronger! Bottomline: If you are sick, just stay home and rest till you are fully recovered. It is no point pushing yourself to work when you are not well as you will just drag the recovery process.
Really hope to completely recover soon. So much to do! :S It's a real bummer too as this is the F1 week and there are so many parties to attend! Was supposed to go to Altitude last night but was burning up with a fever so didn't make it and today, I was supposed to be at Lantern (Fullerton Bay Hotel) with my girlies but didn't make that as well. I really wanted to take some awesome shots. I can barely speak now. Completely lost my voice which sucks as my job requires me to talk quite a bit.
Drink lots of water, take your vitamins and keep healthy girls! The weather hasn't been very friendly. It's either super hot or darn cold!
The acts coming in for F1 this year are awesome! Any of you going??? Sigh, unfortunately I don't have tickets this year! :( Of the 3 years this is the one time I have no tickets and they choose to bring in such splendid acts. DAMN.
Here's what I've been up to before I fell sick again. Mainly attending weddings! When you are of a certain age, you pretty much get a wedding invite at least twice a month! It's insane! But it's really nice and sweet all the same to see your friends so in love and having found someone to spend the rest of their lives together with. I wonder when will be the day someone is fully committed to me and me to him. Well someday… :) I have been doing wedding venue reviews on FoodGossip so do check it out if you are looking for a place to hold your wedding. My 2 most recent weddings were at Mandarin Oriental and the Fullerton Hotel (lunch). Will do up the reviews for those 2 soon so look out for it!

Didn't bring my camera out. It was Dennis' and Andy's Bday Party @ Butter. Realised I hadn't come out since the Zenith bash! haha Old already…still recall those days when I could dance without a sip of alcohol. Now, I just sit down half the time! Signs of aging man..
Love the dress I had on. It's a very Victoria Beckham styled dress. Fitting at the right places to show off those curves yet not revealing to warrant unwanted attention. Love the square collar as it shows of my collar bones.

A simple white pull over dress paired with a brown belt I had bought in Sydney. Casual and comfy. No need for a strapless bra, basically no fuss. The lace details at the top distinguishes the dress from plain dull to simple and chic. Wore it with my new Ninewest Heels. :)
My ex-colleague had her wedding at Mandarin Oriental. I have been for quite a few weddings the past 2 years but this was my first at Mandarin Oriental. Although the ballroom was a tad small but the food was awesome! Not your typical wedding dinner cuisine and it was very good! YUMMY… *slurp* It was nice to see old colleagues again. Feels like a long time since I left!

Wore a navy blue semi-long dress from COATS. I lost a lot of weight recently because of the chicken pox so the dress kinda made me look really skinny. But I love the dress because the of the v-neck and the runge at the waist, emphasizing the figure. I love how the dress flares from waist down. The dress has a nice feminine flow and ends slightly above mid calf. As the dress is simple and relatively plain, I paired it with a loud huge pair of matt gold earrings. Always loved how matt gold looked against dark navy blue. The earrings are from F21 and many of the girls loved it! It's a tad heavy but because of that, it doesn't look cheap but actually quite expensive because of the texture and material.

The lovely bride. Her 2 gowns were very pretty! They were extremely flattering on her and not too gaudy like some other wedding gowns I've seen. I think they suited her very well.
Pssst!! Her gowns are from My Dream Wedding and designed in Hong Kong!

I love this dress. Finally got a chance to wear it at Ame's wedding luncheon. Got this dress from Mango. It caught my eye the first time but it was rather expensive then. I finally bought it when it was on sale and as if fated, the last piece was in my size! What were the odds. Love the way this dress flows and the fabric as well as colour. It's a very romantic dress with the heart top and the thick sling. I don't usually like togas but this one was just so sweet. I thought it looked perfect for a garden party and was just waiting for the opportune moment to wear it. Again, the runge at the waist and a nice flare waist down. I like the length too. Not too long and not too short. Adding to the romantic feel of the dress.
My JC clique! Missing the bride and Li'er who couldn't make it.
Lovely wedding reception on the 5th.
I chose the wrong day to wear flats man. Especially when everyone is already so tall and in HEELS no less!
Isn't Ame's gown gorgeous?? I love it how it's so oldish western. Feels very 1960s. Classy and elegant.
Her cheongsam looked beautiful on her. The gold was perfect against her sun-kissed tan. Absolutely stunning. :)
It was a beautiful setting for an afternoon wedding. It wasn't at the main Fullerton ballroom but smaller one. The ballroom was bright and simply decorated. The whole feel was very westernised yet with an asian touch. It was a glorious day and the wedding luncheon was intimate and very casual. Due to smaller seating, the bride and groom were able to walk from table to table and interact with the guests. It was very personal and warm. :)

The beautiful bride and groom :) Congrats guys! This was their third and final wedding celebration around the world! Talk about an international celebration!
Hopefully I will get better soon so I can share more with you girls. Really bummed I had/have to miss so many gatherings and parties this week. :( I was really looking forward to checking out Lantern and Altitude!
That's all from me for now…see you ladies at next week's launch! :)
XoXo
Germaine
