Road to Recovery

I am so unkept that it disgusts me! When you are having chicken pox you basically just sleep most of the time in a bid that you won't scratch yourself for fear of leaving scars. Now we are not just talking about marks like blemishes on your face but deep scars like indentations. So I've basically been sleeping if not being the perfect couch potato. You can't shower properly as you are afraid of bursting the pox again resulting in scars and you can't eat normally too. It's seriously no fun when you are an adult because you actually know what you are missing out on. PLUS, you need to groom yourself when you are older.

Well I am finally recovering and I have a long list of TO DOs before I will allow myself to grace society again.

1. I badly need to have my eyebrows shaped
2. Legs
3. I need a facial if not a masque! Haven't dared to do anything to my face including my usual cleansing regime for fear of bursting those pox. Can't risk scarring my face.
4. Body Scrub. I have been covered in calamine lotion everyday. I need a good scrub but I can only do that when the scabs have fallen off. Argh. I feel really gross right now. Plus calamine is quite drying so that brings me to point 5.
5. Moisturize!!
6. Hair treatment. Yes, they grew on my scalp too so hair washing has been very gentle.
7. MANICURE/PEDICURE - desperate need of this. I didn't do it for awhile as I broke my nail whilst bowling so I was waiting for my nail to grow back out before I went for my mani/pedi. Then the pox happened so I am WAY OVERDUE on this.
8. Exercise!! I don't usually exercise but I am dying to get some sun. When you are having the pox you are not supposed to expose yourself to direct sunlight for some reason. Whatever the case, you can't go out anyways so unless I go stand in my garden, I wasn't getting any sun either way. All the sleeping and couch potato-ing has turned my body into flab and slob. My minimalistic diet means I actually LOST weight, but just not moving everyday (not even my usual walking), can do your body a lot of damage. So I am going to take out that pair of brand new running shoes which I never used and do some jogging when I am done with this. I MUST!

Then of course, there's work. We haven't done a photoshoot because of my pox so we really need to take some pictures soon or we can't launch all the pretty clothes we have stashed! Hopefully with some cover up, we should be able to do a photoshoot this Saturday. :)

oooooh so many things to do. Not to mention my 2 weeks hiatus has really set me back in terms of work so I definitely need to get that in order as well. Plus I need to get my social life back too! That should come in hand in hand with getting my regular diet back. I miss food!!!

Wore this skirt to a friend's wedding. Well, we managed to grab something similar in a classy cream! Look out for it! :)
