Just got back from an utterly exhausting day at universal studios.. And the one thing that everyone must know...that place is freakinggg tiny!
Its like, yes, we all know singapore is land scarce and all.. But for 70+ bucks, you really would expect a little more. Granted its the soft launch, and not all the rides are open, a whole day there is way too long. Give youself 5hours and you've covered the entire ground.. This is inclusive of a leisurely lunch at the chinese restaurant, another break at some western diner, all the shows (waterworld, monsters rock...), the queues for the rides and shopping!

Despite its tiny size, I must commend them for keeping the crowd fairly controllable. The queues weren't excruciatingly long, so the universal express really wasn't necessary. The performances were pretty entertaining as well. My heart goes out to the poor staff in costume.. Frankenstein, the cast of madagascar and the lots.. Singapore is too hot, it must have been sweltering inside.
The highlight of my trip there wasn't a ride, nor a performance.. It was actually a rather silly incident just outside Jurassic park..but I shall let the photos tell that story..

Overall, it was fine. Its one of those places that you only need to go once... and then maybe again when you have kids. hahah.
xoxo,
Lin
