Went to pick out clothes for our next collection today with Lin. Can't wait to launch! We will be taking pictures this weekend and hopefully we should be able to launch 2nd half of next week.
Expect lots of work dresses (the lace dress was really popular so we hope to bring more of such dresses which are of good workmanship, nice details and appropriate for work)and fun weekend outfits as well. I realised some people don't know that our collections are based on 5 work outfits + 2 weekend outfits. Well, the idea is to take YOU through the week! Giving you something to wear everyday of the week.
Inside the lift of the Hard Rock Hotel in RWS. Cool concept and layout. I think the rooms must be pretty awesome as they are supposed to be in theme. Yet another great venue for a cosy party!
Went to RWS for the World Cup soccer match: Brazil vs Portugal - BORING MATCH. No goals at all. Seesh. VIVOCity was extremely crowded when we were going into Sentosa. It was insane! MADNESS really. The taxi queue was like 200m long? There were scores of people in RWS watching soccer on the big screens as well. The atmosphere was nice but a tad too crowded if you ask me.
Having been to both RWS and MBS, I guess they would appeal to different crowds. RWS is generally more family type whilst MBS seems more "atas" and classy. Oh well, I think they are a great addition to our Lion City!
Wore one of the weekend dresses which we will be launching in our next collection. S said it's very nice! Love the bright colours. Into long dresses lately so this is my new LOVE. It's flowy, bright, which is perfect for summer. And I love how the colours are so rich! Made of soft thin cotton, rest assured you won't be melting in this dress. TIP: when you buy maxi dresses you should look out for those made of light material and not too thick as it won't flow as well and it'll be really hot and heavy. Imagine all that cloth!
I think the dress gives a different vibe when you have your hair up and down. Hair up gives it a more resort-ish, Sunday, chill look. Hair down gives it a more relaxed night out feel. What do you think? Heh paired the dress with a pair of Gold Ballerina Flats from Rubi and a matching Gold Handbag from Ninewest.
