And so the weekend is finally here. Mine started Friday night when I met up with R and Ivane for dinner. It's been some time since I last met Ivane and it was good to see her again. R and Ivane hadn't really caught up since R moved back to SG so there were a lot of stories flying across the dinner table as we filled each other in on the goings-on in our lives. Ivane had previously asked me to let her know if I had anything suitable for her as she was one of the "jie-meis" for a friend's wedding. Two in fact. The dress code for one required her to be in a pink dress and the other a white one. I haven't found her a white one yet, but here's what she'll be wearing for the pink outfit (courtesy of FashionITCH):

I think this piece is lovely and great for that afternoon wedding or tea parties. Nice, soft and flowy. Look out for it in our upcoming collections! Also available in pearl grey. :)
After dinner and dessert (ice cream at Swensens), I met S for a late night movie - The Sorcerer's Apprentice. It was an interesting pairing, Nicholas Cage and Jay Baruchel (from She's Out of My League); the former usually taking on the serious blockbusters and the latter who does mainly chick flicks or comedies whereby he is always the underdog. S thought the show was silly and a waste of time. Me? Well, admittedly I didn't think it was very funny. On many occasions it seemed like they were trying to be humorous but it really was just a "smiling"moment at best. But I did enjoy the movie. I found it entertaining throughout. So should you catch it? I say, why not? :) Just don't expect anything sensible, heavy or serious. An interesting twist to the legends of Merlin.
It's Saturday. Despite our late night, S and I woke early and headed to Lin's place for the photoshoot. We had 3 collections to take and it was a cloudy day. Not good for picture lighting I can tell you that. So what can you expect? haha as usual, I'm excited so here's a peek at what's coming up:
Do you remember the dress above? Many of you commented that you liked the dress and I have been desperately trying to find something similar. It's essentially a crumple dress so it's good for traveling as no ironing is required. Well, here's the closest I could find to my dress. Hope you gals like it! :)

A pretty piece that comes with a detachable bow and belt. Check out the scallop bottom! You gals are gonna love this.

A perennial favourite, the korean polka dot structured dress. A sweet piece that's great for work and after-hours. :)

Still in the Korean theme, this lovely piece is made of amazing material. Extremely comfortable and you just can't help but feel sassy in it!

A classy brown structured dress that's muted yet stunning. Love the 2 tones and the combination of materials.
Ok, gotta run. Going for a bbq party tonight - YAY! Gonna grab some cheese and wine first. CHEERS!! Have a great weekend gals!!!! :))
