Nostalgia Part I

It's interesting how pictures uploaded on FB help you recollect memories once excitedly shared. I have changed computers and laptops quite a bit over the last couple of years. Sure, some of my pictures are nicely stored in external hard disks but unfortunately some have gone along with the old computers. I no longer have videos of the cheerleading and dances I did in University. In fact pictures taken during that time are lost and so have some of the memories which seem so distant and far away.

I was looking through the old albums I uploaded previously on FB and was feeling nostalgic. Just thought I'd share some of them. Starting from 2007 - the year I partied so hard. My friends moved to Hong Kong for work, I had just broken up, so there I was in Hong Kong almost every other month, clubbing away wild and free. Back in Singapore, I had a clubbing clique too. It was insane. We had a ritual: Friday we would be at Zouk Members and Saturday at China One chilling and listening to the band Tabula, which was really quite awesome. I feel so old now just recollecting the energy I had 3 years ago…

My birthday celebration 3 years ago. How the group has shrunk. Whilst majority of us secondary school classmates are still intact, we pretty much split into our various cliques and such huge class gatherings are far and few now.
Offsite trip to KL with my Risk Management Team! I loved my time with them. I miss them…thankfully we still keep in touch! Seriously the nicest bunch of people I have ever worked with! All very intelligent, humble, friendly and non-assuming. RMU RAWKS! :)

We used to decorate for someone's birthday in RMU. Those were happy times though stressful work. Lalala I actually miss MT days. It was really very much a work hard, play hard environment. I remember going down to Harrys every evening for a break with drinks and chicken wings, then coming back upstairs to resume work. People at MT were generally very friendly too. Sigh..good ol' days!

I have a thing for clam-shell phones. Used to call them "piak piak" phones. Hee almost forgot I used to have this Pink Motorola! Everything about it sucked except the camera and the fact that it "piaks"!

One of my many visits to Hong Kong in 2007. Initially I bothered to travel around but after awhile I just got lazy and stayed in Hong Kong Island the whole time, patronising the same areas just different restaurants! :p

Where I slept during my HK crashes. :)

Pretty much routine...My Hong Kong trips always included clubbing at Prive! :)
My favourite shot - Tequila Rose…tastes like Baileys!!
Check out how their shot glasses are double the size of those in Singapore!

And of course the shopping in HK always left me coming home broke. Here's a picture of the DIOR warehouse sale. It was insane!!

And the party continued in Singapore. My weekly clubbing pals. :)

Miss Citibank was quite an experience. Pretty fun actually. Pssssst!! Lin's bf was supposed to be a participant as well but he had to pull out due to commitment clashes. hahaha and yes, we were saboh-ed! :)

Grey contacts!! Nice? Hmmm…maybe I should start wearing them again for the fun of it. :)

The Armani dress G convinced me to buy for Xmas! hahahaa Makes me look like I have a tummy! Bro just got his ear pierced that 2007 christmas too! hahahaha

Okie dokes. Enough from me for now. Shall reminiscence 2008 another time. Good night! ;)
