Thank you for the well wishes!

Some of you dropped in lines wishing me a speedy recovery during the launch of Rachel last night so THANK YOU for that. Really appreciate the concern from you, my friends and family alike. Everyone has been very supportive, especially LIN - thanks dear, couldn't have done it without you. Poor gal, in my absence she had to put the entry together and do the invoicing and payment verification all on her own, not to mention her regular full time job! I owe ya one girl…

I look horrible right now. The pox has spread all over my body, face and head. Yes, it's growing on my scalp! Sorry, I shall spare you the gross details. But in a nutshell, I hate the way I look right now. I can't stand looking at my reflection.

I was born blessed with good facial skin which I may have taken for granted. For those of you who know me, I recently had a breakout which essentially equates to a single huge zit on my face. Since I was a young, I never really had multiple pimples growing on my face. I would have however a single zit, and it would be huge. However nothing some Nixodem couldn't cure in less than a week. The recent breakout was different though. It didn't go down in a week in fact, after it went down, the mark would still be there and I would grow another. I grew 3 in succession and they are still on my face! As if refusing to not leave me with something to remember there is a still a dark pigmentation as if I burnt my skin - well I might have considering the chunk of Nixodem I put on them. It's been 2 months now and it's still plaguing me.

Well this is way worse. For the first time, I am looking myself in the mirror and I see pimple-like marks all over my face. It's traumatising. I know I sound like a complete airhead right now but I truly am very disturbed. I had previously written an entry on the skin care I used in FoodGossip under Random Ramblings but for those of you who don't read Food Gossip, here are some of the links:

Do leave comments and let me know what you think and perhaps we can learn from each other on how to achieve radiant good complexion as I really think it's damn important.

We may not be able to choose how we look, our features and all (plastic surgery not counted!), but we can choose to take care of ourselves and make ourselves look as best as we can. First with good complexion, healthy hair with a good cut and colour, skillful make-up and of course fab clothes! :)

Shall rest for a bit now. Hope to hear from you gals soon and I am glad you gals like Rachel as we can tell from the splendid response to the launch! :)

XoXo
Germaine
