Went to Ho Chin Minh recently with a good girl friend of mine. She works in Hong Kong so she is rarely in SG. Sometimes when I visit HK, I will crash at her place. She used to be my shopping kaki back in 2007. Always sharing with me her beauty tips and the latest fashion through the many magazines she buys. We used to go on those crazy shopping sprees at far east, spending $500 each per trip. When we're together, everything just seems to stand out in the stores. Plus I must say we were always very efficient shoppers, and extremely productive. Sometimes, we would just meet for tea, chill and people watch. Ooooh I miss her! Well, the recent HCM trip was our first holiday together. She flew in from Hong Kong and me from Singapore and we had an awesome girly 4 days and 3 nights. Our hotel was well located and pretty nicely furnished! If you do visit HCM, I recommend the Sofitel Saigon Hotel. It may be a little expensive for a place like HCM, but I think it was worth it. After a day out, it was nice returning to a comfy hotel. Here's a look at our room:

We ate pretty yummy food there actually. Checked out some of the recommended places on LUXE and they were not bad at all. Here I am holding up a place card with my name on it. We had made a reservation using the hotel concierge and as the hotel was booked under my name, the table was reserved under Ms Lim. It was pretty cool how upon entering the restaurant, we saw name in HUGE BOLD CAPITALS. No way of losing your table. :) This particular restaurant served awesome seafood. Should you be planning a trip to HCM, feel free to leave a comment and perhaps I could share with you my itinerary. :)

Like this top? We have it in white and blue. Due to limited pieces, we will not be launching this as a collection piece but rather as one of our Facebook Specials so look out for it! (Lin and I each kept both colours for ourselves!)

My brave friend who loves snakes. She actually loves most reptiles..haha despite it being eeeky, I still love u babe! hahaha :p
Took a similar picture like this when I was about 5, think it was in Thailand. hahaa should find the pic and upload it.

Recently caught Crazy Christmas with some of my girlfriends and I must say it was very entertaining. The strong cast was headed by Hossan Leong, Selena Tan, Robin Goh, George Chan, RJ Rosales, etc. All household names to the theatre scene. It is essentially a song and dance entertainment. I wouldn't call it a musical but rather a concert with a good mix of drama and song. I found the whole programme very heartwarming and there was a nice good Christmas feel to it. For all of you who have not caught it, I urge you to check it out. The show was funny, engaging and extremely entertaining.

Drinks at Fullerton Bay Hotel after Crazy Christmas. We couldn't get a seat at Lantern! Poor Lorr hasn't been there and has been meaning to go. Next time, we are making reservations!

At Butter with the girls….

Congratulations Jacques & Bobby! The gorgeous couple were finally ROMed on 5 December 2010! The ROM was sweet, personal and intimate, just the way I like it! Held at GRAZE, it was a lovely ceremony and dinner, with close friends celebrating the love of this good looking couple. More on the wedding in another entry!
Remember this dress? :)
Yawns…gonna turn in now. Got a packed weekend ahead.
1. Brunch tomorrow morning
2. Xmas dinner at Novous with the girls
3. Xmas cooking lesson/lunch with other girlfriends
4. Xmas shopping
5. Crab Dinner - need to satisfy my craving after Palm Beach dinner was cancelled last minute!
6. Prepare launch of Michelle collection
7. Prepare next FashionITCH Revisited Part II
And in between all that I need to somehow pack my room!! Too many clothes and nonsense! If Lin and I were to do a garage sale of our old stuff, think you girls would be keen? I have so many clothes that I have either never worn or worn once. Don't know what to do with them! I used to give them to the salvation army but some are so pretty and new, feels kinda wasted.
Ok, gonna turn in now. Good night!
XoXo
Germaine
