what is there to do in Singapore?

S and I were on leave and we were wondering what to do besides watching a movie, going shopping, nuahing at home…Initially we toyed with the idea of renting a bike and cycling to the end of East Coast where all the yummy food places are. But as it is that time of the month for me, I changed my mind last minute as I figured perspiring under the blistering sun was not something I wanted to do when my hormones were already twisted. In the end, we decided to go on a food hunt, we picked our favourite local delights and surfed for the supposed "best" around the island and planned our route. We were going to start with roti prata in the morning, fish head curry, oyster omelette, desserts, minced meat noodles, katong laksa, JB-type white pepper crabs and end off with durians. But as I mentioned in my earlier entries, I have been having trouble sleeping and only got to sleep around 5am the night before so we started late and as I was so tired, we stopped our route at desserts. For more on our food hunt, look out for my entry in FoodGossip with Germaine.

I posted some pictures of our food hunt on fb and got some comments on the dress I was wearing. Ain't it pretty? I love it! It's one of those good to pack for travel dresses as it doesn't require ironing - those crumpled material. It's loose and comfy and I love the prints and colour of the dress. For more shape and form, you can pair it with a belt too. So what do you think? Do leave your comments so that we know what you like and hopefully we can find similar stuff to launch on FashionItch.

Do you like this type of dresses?

Also, any tips on how to sleep? I tried drinking wine before I slept yesterday but it didn't work. Maybe I should try something stronger. I had a light Moscato as I didn't want to end up feeling hung over the next day. As for the Ginvera Jade Dark Eye Circles Roll Away Gel, I am afraid I will need more time to get back to you on that. Hard to tell if it's working when I am sleeping at 4am to 5am daily. I swear the World Cup is so not helping my sleep cycle. And tonight it's the semi-finals. HELP. Why must the Finals be a 2.30am game on Monday morning? Can't they have it earlier at 10pm Sunday night like the other games? Singapore should declare Monday a public holiday. It gets my vote. DONE.
